Advanced Placement at Elite School Sharjah

Advanced Placement (AP) is a program created by College Board that offers university level courses and exams to high school students. Each course ends with an exam scored from 1 to 5, and many universities consider a score of 3 or higher for credit or placement.

At Elite School Sharjah, our students’ results have risen every year, with the average score climbing from 3.77 in 2024 to 4.29 in 2025 and 4.80 in 2026. Over the same period, the number of exams taken more than doubled, from 47 to 106.

In 2026, 99.1% of exams scored 3 or higher and 84.9% earned the top score of 5. Our mean score was above the UAE mean in all nine subjects taken, and every exam in Calculus AB, Physics 1 and Precalculus scored 5. Looking ahead, 94 students are registered for 188 exams across 11 subjects in May 2027.
